Bringing the UA92 Business School to Manchester this September.

Big news! We are set to open our game-changing UA92 Business School in Manchester city centre from this September. It will transform the way we deliver our Business and Accounting courses and become a central hub for collaboration and enterprise with our Business Partners.

Why is UA92 opening a new campus? 

UA92 has grown rapidly since opening in 2019. We now have over 700 students with well over 1000 expected in 2023/24 we need additional space to provide students with both the teaching and recreational space that they need. The UA92 Business School will give our Business and Accounting students a dedicated campus custom designed for their needs and allow further collaboration with our industry partners.

When will the UA92 Business School Open?

The UA92 Business School will open in September 2023. It will be the location for teaching for all new and continuing students on Accounting and Finance, Business Management and Business and Accounting Courses.

Where is the new campus?

The new Business School will be located in Baskerville House, opposite Salford Central and next to Spinningfields,

What are the transport connections like?

It is located in the centre of Manchester with great train, tram and bus connections. Salford Central train station is opposite the new campus. Manchester’s free bus service (route 2) runs every 10 minutes and will take you direct to Piccadilly and Deansgate stations where you can catch a train or pick up the Metrolink tram. There is no student parking available on site however there are a range of pay and display parking options nearby.

What facilities are nearby?

The Business School is located in the centre of Manchester. A range of cafes, shops, restaurants and other amenities are located in the vicinity.

There is a Tesco Express in the next building.

How many students will be at the new Business School?

In 2023/24 the campus will house about 500 students before expanding to accommodate over 1000 from September 2024.

Will any current students be moving to the new Business School?

Yes in addition to new students all current students on the following courses will be learning at the new campus from September: Accounting, Accounting and Business, Accounting and Finance, Business Management and Global Foundation.

When can I visit the campus?

We will be sharing designs for the campus over the next few months ahead of the Business School opening in September. We intend to have an Open Day on the campus in August 2023.

Will student accommodation be available nearby?

The campus is located in the city centre and is easily accessible from across Greater Manchester and beyond. It is a short tram journey from Academy Apartments in Old Trafford which will be bookable for those who have firmly accepted their place at UA92 from late April.

What if I am starting my course before September 2023?

If you are starting in our April 2023 or June 2023 intake, you will commence your studies at the Old Trafford campus and move to the new location when it opens in September.

If I'm a Business student, will I still be able to access facilities at the Old Trafford Campus?

Yes all students of the Business School will still be able to access the Old Trafford campus as they wish including the new Performance Centre Gym Facilities. There are gym facilities near to the new campus available to UA92 students with memberships from £16.99 per month.
