About the role:
AsInternational Admissions & Compliance Manager, you’ll take centre stage in supporting our growing population of international students managing the full admissions process while ensuring UA92 remains compliant with UKVI requirements.
You’ll act as the go-to expert for all things international admissions, working closely with the Head of Student Registration, and external partners likeNavitasandLancaster University. From guiding prospective students through application and visa processes, to managing compliance procedures, right-to-study checks, and audit preparation, your role will ensure every international student at UA92 starts their journey with confidence and clarity.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the assessment and processing of international applications, working closely with our partner (UA92 Global) and our internal Registry team.
- Oversee student visa compliance (Student Route), ensuring UA92 meets all UKVI and Lancaster University requirements.
- Provide expert guidance to prospective students on admissions, visas, entry requirements and more.
- Monitor attendance and engagement of international students, ensuring a positive and compliant experience throughout their time at UA92.
- Play a key role in right-to-study checks, UKVI audits and reporting.
- Champion a world-class international student journey alongside teams in Student Success, Wellbeing, Recruitment and Finance.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience working in international admissions or UKVI compliance within HE or FE.
- Strong working knowledge of Student Route visa regulations and sponsor requirements.
- Experience managing CAS issuance, visa checks and UKVI reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and confidence with student data and CRM systems.
- A solutions-focused mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Outstanding communication skills – you’ll be the go-to for internal teams and international applicants alike.
