3 YEAR FULL-TIME DEGREE
Our deliberately different approach means you will study in the morning or afternoon, giving you the flexibility to work around your other commitments. You will study in blocks, focusing on one subject module at a time and you'll be assessed at the end of every block so no traditional end-of-year exam.
REQUIRES 72 UCAS TARIFF POINTS
2 YEAR ACCELERATED DEGREE
Accelerated degrees are perfect for those who want to complete their studies much faster. You will study 6 modules a year (instead of 4), but you will achieve a full degree awarded by Lancaster University in two years, not three. Plus the overall cost is around 20% less than the standard three-year degrees on offer.
REQUIRES 96 UCAS TARIFF POINTS
CERTIFICATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION (CERT HE)
The equivalent to the first year of a degree. This is a great option if you have some qualifications but don’t meet the entry requirements for our full degree course. Successful completion will guarantee progression onto Year 2 of the applicable degree course at UA92. So you can still complete your degree in 3 years.
REQUIRES 48 UCAS TARIFF POINTS

It’s your last chance to apply for courses that still have places available. Not everyone will need to use Clearing but it’s important to know what your options are and be prepared if things don’t quite go to plan on results day.
.
WHEN IS CLEARING?
Find the most up-to-date list of clearing vacancies by using the UCAS Search Tool. This will go live on Tuesday 5 July, and you’ll have until 19 October to apply.
WHEN WILL I GET MY RESULTS?
A-level results will be officially released on Thursday 18 August 2022. Other qualifications may vary slightly. Check with your school/college if you are unsure about when your results will be published.
WILL I NEED TO USE CLEARING?
There are lots of reasons you might use Clearing.
- You’ve only just decided you want start your studies in 2022 and you’re applying after 30 June.
- You’ve had a change of heart, or your circumstances have changed, and you want to look at other options.
- You didn’t receive any offers from your original UCAS application, or you didn’t want to accept the offers you received.
- You didn’t meet the conditions of your firm or insurance offers but still want to start your studies in September.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON RESULTS DAY?
For most students, results day will go one of two ways:
- You get the results you need to meet the conditions of either your firm or insurance choice – Congratulations, you’re in! You’ve been firmly accepted at one of your choices. UCAS will update within 5-7 days and display your UCAS confirmation letter (AS12) which tells you more about what to do next. So go and celebrate!
- You didn’t get the results you need for your firm or insurance choice? Don’t panic, we’ve got you! Check to see if you’ve been offered a similar course or alternative study level. If not, all is not lost. You can search for a place on a course that has vacancies using the UCAS Search Tool.
HOW DO I APPLY THROUGH CLEARING?
Your status on UCAS will say ‘You are in Clearing’ or ‘Clearing has started’.
Use the online tool to search for alternative courses.
