5 ways the UA92 AM/PM Timetable will save you time and money

Blogs

BACK

At some universities, you can be in lectures any time of the day between 9am and 6pm. This can lead to gaps in your timetable and lots of waiting around for your next class.

At UA92 we like to keep things simple. The timetable structure means you will be required to attend classes between 9am-1pm, if you are a morning (AM) student, or 2pm-6pm if you are an afternoon (PM) student. This will be the same throughout your studies.*

Here’s 5 reasons why the AM/PM timetable will make sure you’re more efficient with your time and your money!

  1. Plan life around your studies

The structured timetable means you have the time to do other things around your studies. Whether that’s looking after family, working part-time, running a business, training for your sports team or simply being able to do the things you love – it is good to know you can do all this and more.

  2. Make the most of your time

Student life is busy enough without having to wait around between classes. By studying in the morning or afternoon, you will be consolidating your daily studies into a 4-hour block. Therefore, you will have the rest of the day to do other things and you’ll feel much more productive!

  3. Stay focused on your learning

Studying in four-hour blocks, with short breaks in between, makes it easier to stay focused on what you are learning. Our ‘one module at a time’ approach also helps to maintain focus and gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter you are studying.

  4. Reduce travel time

No waiting around between classes means you won’t be tempted to pop home or return to your student accommodation. This will save you money on petrol or transport and reduce your carbon footprint too.

  5. Be more organised

When your day-to-day is constantly different it can be difficult to get into a routine. Knowing your schedule ahead of time can help you to get into a routine. This will help you feel more organised and in control, particularly when it comes to things like planning meals. For example, if you know you’re a morning student, you can make sure you have a good breakfast before you start at 9am. A snack will see you through until 1pm, then you can head home to prep for lunch.  Small savings like this can make a big difference.

If you want to know more about our AM/PM timetable or our deliberately different approach to study at UA92, book on our next Open Day.

*If you start in February, April or June, or are an accelerated student, we don’t guarantee that your timetable will be fixed.
