Sporting Communities Youth Innovation Conference
We kicked off the year with the Sporting Communities’ first ever Youth Innovation Conference in January, which was hosted at our Old Trafford Campus and sponsored by Kitlocker. Over 200 people attended, from a range of ages and sectors, to discuss young people’s views, aspirations and issues, and improve youth systems across the UK.

Midas Team Away Day
In February, we were visited by MIDAS (Manchester’s Inward Investment Agency) for their team away day at our Old Trafford campus. When they weren’t conducting some productive training sessions, they were touring the campus and learning more about our mission here at UA92, even visiting our 360 degree immersive Igloo!
McCann Launch Event
February also saw the launch of the ‘McCann Experience’ to the region’s media, when we were joined by McCann Manchester at the UA92 Business School. Their ‘McCann Experience’ is a brand-new proposition ready to accelerate marketing effectiveness of challenger brands, helping them to ‘become the brand icons of tomorrow’ (Tim Ainsworth, McCann Manchester). This launch is one of many exciting instances of our partnership with McCann, another being the co-creation and co-delivery of our Digital Marketing degree, which is kickstarting at our UA92 Business School in September.
