Name: Dr. Daniel Tinnion
Title: Lecturer in Physiology
Specialism: 

Daniel Tinnion is a Lecturer in Physiology, primarily involved with the Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Physiology of Human Activity modules.

As a physiologist, Dan has a wide variety of research interests spanning the broad areas of nutrition, applied physiology, exercise and health and pedagogy.

To date, his primary research work involves refining the use of buffering agents, to effectively mitigate fatigue and improve high-intensity exercise performance.

Accompanying his research work, Dan has an ongoing applied background, with a particular focus on cycling, combat sports and football. Most notably, Dan was involved in the development and implementation of a Sport Science program for the England Amputee Football Association

Dan utilises both his applied and academic background to delivery engaging and informed content, with professional skills, personal development and employability at its heart.
