Luke is a Lecturer in Sport and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. He works with a range of elite sporting clients, including academy football teams and international endurance athletes.
Luke has recently completed a PhD investigating coach and medical staff education within the English Football Association and has used findings from this research to help shape education provision for the next generation of coaches, teachers and practitioners.
Luke applies his psychological expertise to a range of modules across Sport and Exercise Science, Sports Coaching, Physical Education and Health courses, focussing on implementation of psychological principles in real world settings.
Luke adopts an interactive and practical-based teaching style, inspiring students to develop a range of transferable skills for employment and/or professional training (e.g., communication, organisation, teamwork).
