The TASS Dual Career Accreditation Scheme formally recognises UA92s commitment to academic support and flexibility for talented athletes who wish to study higher education.
Dual Career student-athletes are directly assigned to our qualified dual career coordinator, who will support them to balance their studies with a hectic sporting schedule.  

Our uniquely structured timetable, curriculum delivery and assessments provide an unmatchable opportunity for athletes to achieve their education and sporting potential.

Are you eligible? 

To be eligible for the TASS Dual-Career scheme, athletes must be competing at a minimum of national or regional level (e.g. representing the North West of England) in any recognised individual or team sport with an NGB and talent pathway.

Dual career athletes will apply to study at UA92 following the same process as all UA92 students.

Once you have firmly accepted an offer to study on a UA92 course, if you are a dual career-athlete, our Dual Career Coordinatior (DCC) will ask you to complete a short application form to detail your sport career. If eligible you will then be invited to a meeting with our DCC and discuss why and how you would best benefit from Dual Career at UA92

Meet our Dual Career Coordinator

Christina Cunningham, is the qualified Dual Career lead (DCC) at UA92. One of our Academic tutors, Christina has industry experience of working with elite athletes across a range of sports, having worked as a Sports Scientist at several elite professional clubs. Christina can relate and empathize with the many pressures and challenges athletes and their coaches face and is committed to ensuring a smooth relationship between a students academic and sporting excellence.
