THE ROLE
As CPD Project Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project by ensuring efficient administrative operations and providing excellent attention to detail. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative tasks, working at a fast pace to meet project deadlines. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant initiative within a vibrant and forward-thinking environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the coordination and execution of administrative activities related to the project, ensuring smooth delivery for Students.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, presentations, and correspondence for students and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project records, databases, and communications for Students.
- Track student CPD assessment data and troubleshoot any issues arising under the supervision of the CPD Manager
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables, proactively identifying any potential issues or delays.
- Act as a liaison between CPD, Students & stakeholders, communicating updates and enabling collaboration.
- Organise meetings, workshops, and events, including scheduling, venue arrangements.
- Provide general administrative support, such as handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve administrative efficiency.
- Perform data entry tasks with exceptional attention to detail on Excel.
- Regularly update and validate data to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
- Responsible for supporting and co-ordinating various CPD projects to standardise and strengthen admin across CPD Team.
- Assist in large scale projects to include tracking, monitoring, analysis and reporting on delivery status, identifying risks and any issues to the CPD Manager
- Provide administrative assistance such as producing mail merges, updating documents, responding to ad-hoc enquiries;
- Contribute on the tracking of CPD related activities, analysing data trends and gaps and produce ad-hoc reports to support the CPD Delivery plan
- Support the development and revision of project documents, status updates, communications and timely implementation;
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Competencies:
- Excellent attention to detail: Ability to meticulously review and maintain accurate records, documents, and data, ensuring precision and quality in all tasks.
- Strong organisational skills: Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
- Proactive problem-solving: Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and address challenges in a timely manner.
- Adaptability: Flexible approach to changing priorities and project requirements, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in technology: Comfortable using a variety of software applications, including MS Office suite and project management tools.
Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree or equivalent in a relevant field is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and confident using Excel.
- Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of how to manage and track a project is a plus.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office suite
- Experience of working well as part of a team.
