Sport & Physical Activity

Sport92 has something for everyone, whether you want to play competitive sport or just get involved in some social physical activity with like-minded people.

Join one of our established competitive sports clubs that compete in BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) leagues and get ready for your Wednesday afternoons to be taken over by sport.

If you are interested in signing up, come along to the Welcome Fair on Thursday 14 September on our UA92 Old Trafford Campus.

 

What you can get involved with

We’ve currently got Football, Futsal, Badminton, Basketball, Netball, Table Tennis and Cricket teams available. If your sport is not listed above, don’t worry – you can speak to the Sport Development team at the Welcome Fair about what options are available including starting a new sports club! 

If competition is not your thing, we offer a range of sports and fitness activities throughout the year to help promote good physical and mental well-being.

We have campus football leagues, a brand new Get U Active Programme which encourages students to try new things like yoga or dodgeball, and plenty of opportunities to get involved in coaching and officiating your favourite sport. 

Fitness Facilities

For those into exercising, ‘The Fitness Zone’ is brand-new gym space at our Old Trafford Campus that includes state-of-the-art equipment and a weights section.

The Movement Zone is a multipurpose space on campus for students to use outside of their study hours, as well as walks, organised runs and exercise classes to take part in – so there really is something for everyone!
