Shopping

Our Business School is located in the heart of Manchester. The campus is right next door to the thriving business district, Spinningields, where you’ll find some of the biggest global finance businesses. Spinningfields is also a popular destination for food, entertainment and shopping.

What are the best ways to travel to the Business School?

By train

The closest train station is Salford Central which is within 1 minute walk of our Business School. Manchester Victoria is just 0.6 miles away (15 minute walk).

By Metrolink (tram)

There are a number of Metrolink stops within a mile of the campus.

St Peter’s Square (0.6 miles) offers direct trams on 6 of the 8 lines across Manchester.

By Bus

The campus is centrally located, therefore many major bus routes pass close by.  There’s also a free shuttle bus service around the city-centre.

Is there anywhere to park at the UA92 Business School?

There is no student parking available at the Business School.

Browncross Street carpark is right next to the Business School and suitable for short visits. The pay and display carpark is operated by Euro Carparks.

There are a large number of public car parks located within easy walking distance of the Business School. The Parkopedia site details a number of these options.

Please be aware of driving restrictions on some of the roads in the local area.

Do you only offer degree-level courses?

You can choose to study the following:

Certificate of Higher Education – a 1 year course equivalent to the first year of a degree.

Honors Degree – a 3 year degree course. Degres awarded by Lancaster University.

Accelerated Honors Degree – fast-track your studies with our 2-year degree.
