Silver Award Overall for Teaching
UA92 has been awarded an overall rating of Silver in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) scheme.
As the youngest higher education establishment to be awarded Silver, the rating is a strong reflection of our excellent student experience and student outcomes.
A silver award signifies that UA92 deliver a very high-quality teaching and learning experience in areas that students find most important: teaching quality, learning environment, and student outcomes. This is testament to our focus on providing a supportive and engaging learning environment.

What is the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF)?
The Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) is a national scheme that evaluates and recognises excellence in teaching at universities and colleges.
The TEF does this by assessing and rating universities and colleges for excellence above a set of minimum requirements for quality and standards. The ratings reflect the extent to which a provider delivers an excellent experience and outcomes for its mix of undergraduate students and across the range of its undergraduate courses and subjects. 228 providers took part in the TEF 2023.
But what about our NSS Results?
In the most recent National Student Survey, UA92 was rated the most supportive in Greater Manchester, having scored higher than all Greater Manchester universities for Academic Support and Mental Health Support Services.
