An undergraduate degree is usually studied over the course of three years. At the end of your studies, you will be awarded a degree from Lancaster University, which is highly sought after by employers and recognised and valued all over the world.
On the three year undergraduate degree, you’ll study 4 blocks, each 6 weeks long. This gives you lots of breaks throughout the year to focus on other things, whether that’s travelling, working or playing sports.
Also, on all our three year degree programmes your timetable will be fixed throughout your studies. This means you will either be in morning classes or afternoon classes from start to finish.
What's the difference between a BA and BSc?
You’ll notice all our undergraduate degrees start with either a BA or BSc. BA stands for Bachelor or Arts and normally encompasses subjects within the humanities, social science or creative arts. A BSc is short for Bachelor of Science and usually indicates a focus on science, mathematics or technology. At UA92, we offer both BA and BSc degrees across Business, Sport, Media and Digital.
What does Hons stand for?
An honours degree (Hons) shows you’ve completed a dissertation or project which is considered a higher level of academic achievement. Graduates with an honours degree have a significant advantage when starting out in their chosen careers or progressing to postgraduate study.
