Supporting someone through results day and Clearing can be stressful. But it doesn’t have to be. Understanding how Clearing works and the options available can prepare you to provide help and guidance if needed.

RESULTS DAY

Parents, guardians and supporters, you have been there for them throughout, and we know results day will be no different. It’s good to be prepared, especially if things don’t quite go to plan. If their results weren’t what they hoped, or their plans have changed, Clearing could be their chance to find the right course and a fresh start. It’s how thousands of students secure their place every year, and our team is here to guide both of you through it, one step at a time.

CLEARING, IS NOT
JUST FOR RESULTS
DAY

You might think of Clearing as a last resort, used when results day doesn’t go as expected. But that isn’t the reality. Students use it for all sorts of reasons, whether that’s applying late, changing their mind, or simply finding a better fit. A place found through Clearing is exactly the same as any other. It’s the same course, the same degree, and the same opportunities as those who got their place earlier. It’s worth helping them see it as an opportunity, not a setback.

In our latest Graduate Outcomes survey, we were above national average for Graduate Outcomes. 91% of our students were engaged in employment or further study within 15 months of Graduation.
