We are offering 92 grants of £5,000 to anyone* from Greater Manchester that has been financially impacted by coronavirus, to help them access higher education.
Our Reboot grants will enable those who are out of work, or living on reduced means, to study for a degree or a shorter course with us here at UA92.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR A REBOOT GRANT?
Think you could be eligible for the grant? If you have a Greater Manchester postcode on your application and you’ve applied to study with us, we will contact you to request further information to confirm your eligibility for the Reboot grant.

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for a Reboot Grant you must meet criteria 1, at least one of criteria 2, and have also made UA92 your firm choice upon your application for study.
CRITERIA 1:
- You are a resident of a Greater Manchester postcode.
CRITERIA 2:
- You have lost your job on or after 1st March 2020.
or
- You are the child or spouse of a person(s) who has lost their job on or after 1st March 2020.
or
- You are in receipt of Universal credit at the point of application, or the child or spouse of a person(s) who is receipt of Universal credit.
THE GRANT
Reboot recipients will receive their £5,000 grant paid directly to them in instalments over three years. Students who study for a Cert HE without progressing to a degree course will receive £1,667 in instalments.
