Join a Sports Club

Join one our new competitive sports clubs and take part in BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) leagues and cups. Many of our competitive teams welcome members with all levels of ability and experience. Choose from our clubs in football, basketball, netball, futsal, badminton, table tennis and cricket. If your sport is not listed here, there’s always the option to set up a new club from scratch!

The UA92 football programme is growing from strength to strength. We’ve been awarded a two star rating from the BUCS football accreditation award, and will continue to strive for the top – a three star award in 23/24.

This showcases our inclusive programme across football and futsal, with lots of opportunities to get involved through playing, officiating and coaching, including amongst our own teams and in the community. With the appointment of a Head Coach to maximise the potential of our students, our men’s first team have managed back to back promotions within BUCS leagues.

We now have three competitive men’s teams and one women’s team. You can also join our fun social leagues so there are options for anyone wanting to play football.

Sport92 Talented Athlete Programme

UA92 have a small number of places on a Talented Athlete Programme on offer for student athletes who compete at a high level in their sport. Whilst athletes in team sports we compete in within BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) leagues and individual sports will be prioritised, we welcome applications from any sport as long as you are competing at the appropriate level.

Being a Sport92 Talented Athlete, you could benefit from financial and additional support services to help you balance your academic and sporting commitments. This includes a gym membership, sport science support, equipment expenses and travel costs.

Are you currently a women’s footballer and aiming to be the next Lioness to lift a major trophy? With two women’s football places exclusively available, UA92 is the ideal place to come study whilst continuing your footballing career.
