UA92 Applicants: What to do on results day

WHEN WILL I GET MY RESULTS?

Results day is on Thursday 17 August 2023. Your school or college will be able to tell you how to access your results. However, you should be able to login to your UCAS account from 08.00 on Thursday 17 August to view your status. Your status will depend on the outcome of your results. Here’s a guide to the different UCAS statuses and what they mean.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY PLACE HAS BEEN CONFIRMED?

If you have a conditional offer and you meet your offer conditions, your place will automatically be confirmed. You don’t need to do anything further. Check your UCAS account for further information.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I DON’T GET THE RESULTS I WAS EXPECTING?

First things first, don’t panic! Login to your UCAS account and check your status. You may be offered an alternative course like a Cert HE. If you’re only a few marks short you might still be considered or you may choose to appeal your results. Our phone lines are open from 8am on results day if you have any questions or need some guidance.

WHAT IS A CERT HE?

A Cert HE is essentially the first year of a degree (level 4 qualification). If you pass the Cert HE you can progress onto year 2 of the full degree. Which means you can still get your degree in 3 years. You will study the same curriculum and in the same classes as students studying the first year of a 3-year degree.

CAN I SPEAK TO UA92 ABOUT MY PLACE BEFORE RESULTS DAY?
