UA92 have been rated ‘Good’ in first ever full Ofsted inspection, a significant achievement for a relatively new apprenticeship training provider.
The inspection took place at our Old Trafford Manchester campus in Spring 2025, and as a result Ofsted have awarded UA92 a rating of ‘Good’. Equal to many other established providers in the sector such as University of Manchester and Salford University.
The outcome of the report demonstrates the quality of apprenticeship training delivered by UA92:
Quality of education – Good
Behaviour and attitudes – Good
Personal Development – Good
Leadership and management – Good
Apprenticeships – Good
In the report, Ofsted praised our apprentices “positive attitudes to their learning” their “high-quality work” and the way in which they asked their tutors for feedback.
They also praised the apprenticeships team for their “effective range of teaching strategies” to check apprentices’ learning and understanding of topics, and for the “helpful and effective oral feedback” that they gave each apprentice.
The report states that UA92 “work closely with a small group of prestigious employers in the digital sector to develop personalised apprenticeships that meet the needs of employers and their apprentices. Leaders and employers plan the curriculums to include additional qualifications that are individual to each employer and apprentice.”
Other areas outlined in the report include:
- Confidence and competence of our apprentices
- Opportunities given to our apprentices
- Additional qualifications given to our apprentices
- Useful information, advice and guidance about career development and further study
- Our industry expert instructors

UA92 is a Higher Education institution offering undergraduate degrees in Business, Media, Sports and Digital. As well as this, UA92 is a training provider for a variety of apprenticeship programmes, ranging from Level 3 to Level 6, delivered at the Old Trafford Campus. Like the undergraduate degrees, degree apprenticeships are awarded by Lancaster University.
