An evening full of knowledge, insights, and new experiences, including:
- panel discussion with the creators of the Manchester Caribbean Carnival
- immersive 360 experience in our Igloo featuring stories from our staff and students on their personal inspirational black figures
- interactive workshops centred around personal development, dance and music
- free food and refreshments
- great music
Registration is now closed but walk-ins are welcome! Simply let us know what workshop you like to attend when you arrive.
When is Dream taking place?
Dream will take place on Thursday 24th October 2024. The event is part of Black History Month.
Where is the event being held?
Dream will be held on our Old Trafford Campus.

What time does the event start and finish?
The event starts at 5:30pm and finishes at 8pm. Here are the approximate timings:
17.30: Arrival, networking and food
18.10: Welcome
18.15: Panel with Manchester Caribbean Carnival committee
18.45: Workshops – choose from ‘Imposter Syndrome workshop’ with Ngozi Weller from Aurora, dance workshop hosted by Tia Carty or DJ Mixing Workshop hosted by Hardway Studios
20.00: Event closes
