Abigail

BSc (Hons) Computer Science

Abigail studied Computer Science at UA92, graduating in 2025 and going on to secure a role at the Bank of New York as an Engineering Analyst.

“I’ve always enjoyed problem-solving and learning new things, which led me to pursue higher education and a professional career where collaboration, communication, and adaptability are key. My time at UA92 helped me build confidence, develop strong interpersonal skills through being a student representative, and prepare for life beyond education. I’m the first in my family to go into higher education, and I’m passionate about encouraging others to believe in their potential and take up space in any field they’re interested in.”

Almira

BSc (Hons) Accounting and Business

Almira studied Accounting and Business at UA92, graduating in 2024 and securing a role as a Future Talent Trainee at Tesla.

“I left Rochdale Sixth Form College in 2022, going straight in an Accelerated Accounting and Business degree at UA92. I chose an Accelerated course so that I could get into the world of work quicker, completing my studies in 2024. I now work as a Future Talent Trainee at Tesla, working across sales, service and delivery.”

Aman

BSc (Hons) Computer Science

Aman graduated from UA92 in 2025 with a degree in Computer Science.

“My journey at UA92 played a key role in shaping both my technical skills and personal growth. Studying Computer Science in such a hands-on and supportive environment. It really helped me to build confidence and a strong understanding of real-world problem solving.

After graduating, I went on to complete a project-based internship as a Data Analyst, where I was able to apply the skills and mindset I developed at UA92 in a professional setting. My experience at UA92 prepared me well for the world of work and continues to influence my career path.”

Arne

BA (Hons) Sports Management

Arne graduated with a degree in Sports Management in 2025. He progressed into a role as an Account Manager for Sandhills East, before landing his current role as an SMB Account Manager at Deliveroo.

“I had so many incredible opportunities whilst studying at UA92, from volunteering with Swinton Lionesses, helping to develop their social media presence, to hosting the UA92 EDIB in Sports Leadership Conference, and being chosen as a Student Ambassador, taking part in open days, panels and events representing UA92’s student body. I started at UA92 when I was 17 due to being an international student, and I chose to do an accelerated degree as I wanted to get into the world of work as quickly as possible, meaning I graduated when I was only 19! I secured a role at Sandhills East before I even graduated.”

Charlie

BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance

Charlie studied Accounting and Finance at UA92, graduating in 2025. She is now completing a Masters in Corporate Business and Finance Law at Liverpool John Moores University.

“My time at UA92 gave me strong skills in Accounting and Finance, I’m now studying a Masters in Corporate Business and Finance Law, and I genuinely feel that my UA92 experience prepared me well for this next step. Looking back, the challenges I faced such as having to resit a year were just as valuable as the successes in helping me develop and move forward.”

dan in manchester city kit coaching

Dan

BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Science

Dan works as an Academy Physical Performance Coach at Manchester City. He studied Sports and Exercise Science at UA92, before pursuing a master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning

“Before I came to UA92, I actually wanted to do an apprenticeship because I was eager to start working straight away and be more hands-on instead of being sat in a lecture theatre all day. When I heard about UA92 and its whole approach, I liked the sound of it and decided to apply. To this day, I believe that choosing UA92 instead of my apprenticeship was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I learned so much whilst I was at UA92, but I think that the character and personal development was my biggest takeaway. It’s helped set me apart from the crowd and given me confidence in interviews and meetings, which I know puts me in a stronger position. If I was going to give a student looking to start their next steps some advice, I would say take every opportunity you’re given. It sounds cliché, but you genuinely never know when a conversation or meeting with someone can lead to an opportunity or even put you in the same room with someone who can help your journey.”
