Lecturer – Business & Digital Marketing

Location: Manchester (Old Trafford, Business School and Manchester United)

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000

Location: UA92 Old Trafford & UA92 Business School
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for a Lecturer in Business & Digital Marketing to join our growing World of Business team. If you are passionate about teaching, digital innovation and preparing students for real careers, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Lecturer at UA92, you will design and deliver engaging learning experiences that inspire students and help them succeed academically and professionally.

You will contribute to the development and delivery of modules across Business and Digital Marketing, ensuring teaching is industry-informed, innovative and inclusive.

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

Teaching & Learning

  • Design and deliver engaging teaching across Business and Digital Marketing modules

  • Create high-quality learning materials and activities that support student success

  • Use digital learning technologies to enhance engagement and accessibility

Student Experience

  • Inspire students through innovative and industry-relevant teaching

  • Support students’ personal and academic development

  • Help maintain high levels of student engagement, attendance and achievement

Collaboration & Industry Engagement

  • Work with industry partners and employers to ensure curriculum relevance

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the academic team

  • Support partnership and community engagement activities where required

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and committed to delivering an outstanding student experience.

Essential

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject with relevant professional or industry experience.

  • Experience teaching in Higher Education or strong potential to do so

  • Experience delivering engaging learning using digital tools and technologies

  • The ability to create innovative and inclusive teaching approaches

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences

  • A commitment to equality, diversity and student wellbeing

Desirable

  • Industry experience in business or digital marketing

  • Experience supporting student recruitment or partnership activity

  • Experience of delivering degree apprenticeships
