UA92 Graduation

Graduate Stories

Make the Game.
From the first whistle.

At UA92, our students don’t just wait for opportunities, they create them. From day one, they’re out making the game. Whether it’s coaching at grassroots clubs, creating content or hosting radio shows covering their favourite team, many of our students are already carving their path in football whilst they’re still studying.

And our graduates? They’ve taken the UA92 mindset into the industry. Into clubs, organisations and brands across the game. Bringing fresh ideas, energy and the confidence to do things deliberately differently.

We’ve spotlighted just a few of them here…

Chloe

An ex-footballer herself, Chloe completed in internship as a Performance Analyst at Salford City FC during her time at UA92, working with the First Team and Academy.

Since then, she’s coached at Stockport County FC and acted as Camp Lead for School of Play, before landing her current role as a Community Coach at Manchester United Foundation.

Callum

A student storyteller, Callum is already making his mark in sports journalism at UtdDistrict. Covering the stories that matter, he’s turned his passion for football into a pathway.

Meet Some Of Our Football Graduates

Dan

BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Science

Dan works as an Academy Physical Performance Coach at Manchester City. He studied Sports and Exercise Science at UA92, before pursuing a master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning

“Before I came to UA92, I actually wanted to do an apprenticeship because I was eager to start working straight away and be more hands-on instead of being sat in a lecture theatre all day. When I heard about UA92 and its whole approach, I liked the sound of it and decided to apply. To this day, I believe that choosing UA92 instead of my apprenticeship was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I learned so much whilst I was at UA92, but I think that the character and personal development was my biggest takeaway. It’s helped set me apart from the crowd and given me confidence in interviews and meetings, which I know puts me in a stronger position. If I was going to give a student looking to start their next steps some advice, I would say take every opportunity you’re given. It sounds cliché, but you genuinely never know when a conversation or meeting with someone can lead to an opportunity or even put you in the same room with someone who can help your journey.”

Joseph

BA (Hons) Sports Management

Joseph studied Sports Management at UA92, graduating in 2024. He now works as a Senior Ticketing Operations Executive for the Bristol Sport Group, covering Bristol City FC, Bristol Bears Rugby and Bristol Flyers.

“I come from a small town in the South West, where opportunities in sport are few & far between. The three years I spent with UA92 were life-changing and equipped me with the skills & experience to hit the ground running.

During my time there, I worked 3 internships, got to the national finals of a business competition and helped shape a professional footballs club policy. If it wasn’t for the tremendous resources, support & opportunities for growth at UA92 I would not be in the position I’m in today.

Still over a year on from my departure, I don’t go a day without thinking about how grateful I am to be on this journey and that UA92 put me on the right track.”

Liam

BA (Hons) Sports Management

Liam studied Sports Management at UA92, graduating in 2025 and winning the Chancellor’s Medal for academic achievement. He is now studying for an MBA in Sports Management at Real Madrid Graduate School.

“My time at UA92 helped me build real confidence in my own ability, particularly in developing my presentation and networking skills. I was proud to be awarded the Chancellor’s Medal for academic achievement, and to have my dissertation published in FC Business Magazine. The support and experiences I gained prepared me for the next step in my journey, and I’m now studying at the Real Madrid Graduate School, where I’m exploring the sports industry from a new perspective and confidently presenting ideas to Real Madrid executives.”

Marley

BA (Hons) Sports Media and Communications

Marley graduated from UA92 in 2025 with a degree in Sports Media and Communications. He now works as a Junior Producer at adi.tv, where he works with Heart of Midlothian (Hearts), producing content for the big screen at their stadium, Tynecastle Park.

“After studying Media at Warrington and Vale Royal College, I went on to study Sports Media & Communications at UA92 and having now graduated, I can now say, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From growing as a person inside and outside of the classroom, gaining real industry insight, making amazing friends and having so many opportunities and much more.

Some of my favourite memories from my time at UA92 include graduating, of course, but also the hands-on experience I gained at Salford City Football Club as a Camera Operator, and at Trafford FC as a Media and Marketing Officer. Achieving 89% in one of my third-year modules was another standout moment.

Shortly after graduating, I secured my current role as a Junior Producer at adi.tv, where I produce matchday content for one of their clients, Heart of Midlothian (Hearts). This content is shown on the big screens at their home stadium, Tynecastle Park. I’m really enjoying the role and continuing to grow in the media industry.

None of this would have been possible without UA92. What I’ve learned over the past three years has definitely helped prepare for the industry, building my confidence, experience and willingness to aim for what I want.”

Finding balance

Rachael

BA (Hons) Sports Management

Rachael graduated from UA92 in 2025 with a degree in Sports Management. She now works at Manchester United as an E-Commerce Customer Service and Trading Executive.

“UA92 made it possible for me to be a parent while completing my degree which was incredibly important to me. The flexible and supportive approach meant I didn’t have to choose between my family and my future. During my time at UA92 I gained valuable hands on experience within the football industry which helped me secure my dream career. One standout moment was working on a live project with Salford City which led to a permanent role with the club alongside my studies in ticketing and retail. Being involved on matchdays gave me real insight into how football clubs operate and how important the fan experience is.

After graduating from UA92 I secured a role at Everton FC as a Premium Relationship Executive where I supported premium clients and assisted with the opening of the new stadium. This led to my current role at Manchester United as an E Commerce Customer Service and Trading Executive. Some of my proudest moments include winning the league with the women’s football team and hosting the Women in Sports Leadership Conference.”
