Role:​Head of Media​

Salary: £55,000 + DOE​

Contract: Full-time, Permanent​ 37.5 hours

Location: UA92 Campuses​

Interview Process: 1st stage week commencing 2nd and 9th Feb. Shortlisted applicants asked to engage in 3–5-minute video (MS Teams) remote interview. 2nd Stage weeks commencing 23rd and 2nd March 2026:  Successful applicants invited to attend an in-person interview.

What you’ll do:​

• Provide academic leadership and champion the Media subject area.
• Design and deliver an engaging, industry-connected curriculum.
• Inspire and manage a high-performing academic team.
• ​Build strong partnerships with employers and community groups.​
• Ensure exceptional student outcomes and progression.​

​

What we’re looking for:​

• A master’s degree in a relevant subject (Doctorate desirable).
• Proven experience in higher education leadership and curriculum development.
• ​A track record of innovation in teaching and learning.
• Strong industry connections and collaborative mindset.
• A passion for creating opportunities and raising aspirations.​
