GRANTS FOR GREATER MANCHESTER STUDENTS

We are offering grants of £5,000 for students from Greater Manchester to help them access higher education.

This bursary is designed to support students from low-income households where parents or guardians are receiving Universal Credit.

We understand that financial pressures can impact a student’s ability to focus on their studies, and this bursary aims to ease some of that burden by providing additional support for essential costs.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR A REBOOT GRANT?

Think you could be eligible for the grant? If you have a Greater Manchester postcode on your application and you’ve applied to study with us, we will contact you to request further information to confirm your eligibility for the Reboot grant.

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR THE REBOOT GRANT?

To be eligible for a Reboot Grant you must meet criteria 1and criteria 2, and have also made UA92 your firm choice upon your application for study.

CRITERIA 1:

You are a resident of Greater Manchester.

CRITERIA 2:

You are in receipt of Universal credit at the point of application, or the child or spouse of a person(s) who is receipt of Universal credit.

THE GRANT

Reboot recipients will receive their £5,000 grant paid directly to them in instalments over three years. Students who study for a Cert HE without progressing to a degree course will receive £1,667 in instalments.

*Terms and conditions apply. Reboot grants are not applicable for those already studying at UA92. Grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis.
