Get ready for TechFest 3.0

Tuesday 31st March 2026

TechFest is the annual showcase for our Level 6 World of Digital students, with this year’s set to be the best one yet! The event brings together students, staff, alumni, partners, and industry professionals, creating a supportive and inclusive space for career-development.

Get Involved

This is the chance for Computer Science and Cyber Security students to present their final projects in a professional-style environment, demonstrating the skills, knowledge and resilience they’ve built during their time at UA92.  It’s an invaluable opportunity to strengthen connections and gain meaningful feedback – all while building confidence for the world of work.

Want to get involved? Whether you want to attend TechFest 3.0 or support the event, email ngozi.nneke@ua92.ac.uk to register your interest.

The Impact of TechFest

TechFest was designed to give our Digital students hands-on experience that builds confidence, sharpens skills and boosts career-readiness. Throughout the programme, students take part in industry-led workshops that focus on the essentials: strong presentation skills, professional readiness, interview technique and standout CV writing.

Opportunities for development are built in throughout, supporting each student’s journey. With the involvement of UA92 partners such as Fujitsu, students gain direct access to industry insight. Previous guests of TechFest also include KPMG, FIFA, Lancashire Cricket and Greater Manchester Police.

The connections our students make at TechFest have real impact. These introductions have supported employment opportunities and given valuable insight into their future career.
