Are you ready to kickstart a career in one of the fastest-growing industries in the world? UA92 is offering a Level 3 Cyber Security Apprenticeship, giving you the perfect blend of real-world work experience and expert training.
You’ll spend 4 days a week working at UA92 in our Digital Services team, gaining hands-on experience, and 1 day a week learning with UA92’s expert team, developing your knowledge and skills step by step.
What You’ll Do at UA92
As a Cyber Security Apprentice, you’ll be right at the heart of our IT and Cyber function. You’ll:
- Support the UA92 Service Desk, helping staff and students with technical issues.
- Learn how to monitor, protect and defend systems against threats.
- Get involved in incident response, supporting investigations and helping to strengthen defences.
- Work alongside experienced professionals, seeing first-hand how cybersecurity underpins everything we do.
- Gain exposure to cutting-edge tools and techniques that protect data and keep systems secure.
Your Learning Journey with UA92
Delivered by UA92’s Expert Team your training follows an exciting, structured pathway:
- Module 1: Foundations of Cyber Security – Networking, threats, and the basics of protection.
- Module 2: Risks, Governance and Compliance – Cyber law, ethics, policies, and continuity.
- Module 3: Secure Build and Defence Techniques – Encryption, cryptography, access controls
- Module 4: Practical Cyber Operations & Vulnerability – Threat detection and cultural awareness
- Module 5: Threat Simulation & Incident Response – Red/blue team simulations and reporting.
- Module 6: Apprenticeship Assessment Prep – Skills, portfolio, and final assessment readiness.
