I’m a Bosnian born visual artist, photographer, and researcher whose work bridges art, documentary photography, and cultural and media studies. My interdisciplinary practice explores themes of identity, memory, trauma, and resilience, particularly in relation to post-conflict societies and diasporic experience.
I actively participate in academic conferences and cultural dialogues focused on peacebuilding, reconciliation, and memory work in post-war contexts. I’ve contributed to panels examining how artistic, media, and photographic practices can foster intercultural understanding, support community healing, and document human experiences of conflict and recovery.
I hold an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography, where I developed a critical approach to narrative image-making and socio-political storytelling. My formal training in visual communication informs both my artistic practice and scholarly engagement with visual culture and material memory. With over a decade of teaching experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills from the creative and media industries to my work.
